EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL PRACTICE AREAS:
Mr. Toro is the President of our firm. Has over 35 years of experience assurance in public accounting, tax and advisory services. Mr. Toro has an extensive experience in nonprofit entities, healthcare organizations, governmental agencies and municipalities. As a part of our advisory services division has serve as financial consultant to Mayors. Mr. Toro is also the lead of our business valuations division and litigation support. Mr. Toro has serve as an expert witness for many lawsuits cases providing advisory and expertise in business transactions, business valuations and economic and loss of profit reports.
Mr. Toro also had provided consulting services to the Governmental Development Bank of Puerto Rico in areas of tax compliance, sales and use tax laws, tax legislation and design of tax imposition systems.
As a part of our tax division it has been involved in business and individual tax planning, preparation of request for tax incentives and exemptions, clients’ assistance in tax investigations by governmental authorities, estates and fiduciary planning and returns.
Mr. Toro has also been involved in the accounting system design and operation, structuring purchase and sale of a business, assistance in obtaining financing, labors laws advisory, forensic accounting and fraud detention, insurance claims, purchase and sales contract.
Mr. Toro is an active member of the Puerto Rico CPA Society / Mayaguez Chapter as a frequent speaker on seminars.
