EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL PRACTICE AREAS:
Mr. Santana has over 32 years of experience in public accounting in assurance, accounting, tax and advisory services. As a part of the services include preparation of compilations, reviews and audits for profits and non-profit entities, construction industry and regulated industries (including hospitality, broadcasting and financial institutions, Peer Reviews, ERISA, among others) special tax organizations, preparation of budgets, forecasts and projections. As a part of our tax division it has been involved in business and individual tax planning, preparation of request for tax incentives and exemptions, clients’ assistance in tax investigations by governmental authorities, estates and fiduciary planning and returns.
As a part of other nontraditional engagements Mr. Santana has also been involved in the accounting system design and operation, structuring purchase and sale of a business, assistance in obtaining financing, labors laws advisory, forensic accounting and fraud detention, insurance claims, purchase and sales contract and Medicare cost report.
